Not familiar with how to sync photos from lightroom mobile. Hi, I have been trying some of the above suggestions including disable the discrete GPU and turning off 1:1 previews. This is a shame as LR has served me well for years. If I cannot get a resolution on this problem, I will likely abandon the program. My MBP is running a current version of Sierra 10.12.3 with software updates etc. I can paste it into another message if anyone wants to look at it (It is very long!) If anyone is interested, I have copied the error report generated after the I have restarted the LR program following a Forced Quit. Strangely, I can import photos from an SD card used in my camera (Canon DSLR) without any problems. Each time it freezes, I have to Force Quit LR to close the program. I have disabled all LR plug ins and reset preferences to defaults. Just to clarify, I can see the preview thumbnails of iPhone images in the import window before I commence the LR import, but the import freezes without any photos actually being imported into LR. (On a separate issue, I find that the iPhone is frequently not recognised by the LR program, so I often have to resort to restarting both LR and reconnecting the iPhone) I have not had this issue until recently. This happens if I try to import directly from the iPhone or indirectly via a folder on my Desktop which I have previously imported/copied photos to using a separate program called Image capture. Lightroom CC 2015.9 constantly freezes and fails to import and freezes when I try to import pictures taken with the iPhone.

I have a matchbook pro 15inch late 2016 with touch bar, 2.9Ghz i7 CPU, graphics card and 16GB RAM. I cannot resolve this issue which has happened consistently for the last dozen times I have tried to import photos into LR from my iPhone 5S.
